Abstract
Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication enables nearby vehicles to exchange information wirelessly to improve road safety and reduce accidents. This review focuses on the use of the NRF24L01 wireless transceiver module as a low-cost solution for V2V applications. The module operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band and can be interfaced with microcontrollers such as Arduino for wireless data transmission. Sensors can be used to detect conditions such as obstacles, sudden braking and other hazards, while NRF24L01 transmits the information to nearby vehicles. Such communication can provide quicker reactions to potentially hazardous circumstances and give drivers timely warnings. The examination looks at sensor integration, wireless communication protocols, data transfer, receiver-side alert systems, and the fundamental architecture of V2V systems. The review studies existing research on NRF24L01-based V2V communication, including the techniques, hardware, communication methods and results reported by different researchers. System performance, communication range, reaction time, dependability, and the real-world difficulties of deploying inexpensive wireless communication between cars are all given special consideration. The benefits and drawbacks of NRF24L01 in comparison to more sophisticated V2V communication technologies are also considered. The study highlights the suitability of NRF24L01 for developing simple, economical and effective V2V communication prototypes for small-scale road safety applications, research, and experimentation.
