Abstract
During the most recent couple of decades, with the chance of fortifying the solid with fiber support to an incredible preferred position, the solid development field has encountered an expanded consideration. Various strands utilized are steel, manufactured, glass and common filaments, a portion of the planned advantages of filaments in concrete are improved split control and the chance of planning progressively thin structures. Glass fibre is a vital ingredient used with concrete for stopping mounting cracks. In this laboratory work extensive studies have been carried out on GFRC with varied % of glass fibre mix. Using the results obtained through experimental studies mathematical model has been developed which can help in working out the optimal value of compressive with GFRC. It has been observed that depending on the requirement, optimal mix can be fixed with the intention of maximizing either one of the parameter, namely, compressive strength. Based on the calculation of maximum strengths for GFRC will give the best strengths and the optimal fiber mix will be in the range of 0.61% to 0.65% by volume.
