Abstract
ProjectTrack is a streamlined project management platform tailored for academic institutions to enhance the handling of student projects. It addresses critical challenges such as group formation, topic submission, task allocation, and progress monitoring by automating and organizing these processes through an intuitive digital interface. A key feature is its machine learning-based similarity check, which analyzes project abstracts to prevent topic duplication, thereby promoting originality and reducing redundancy. The platform supports skill based group formation, enabling students to collaborate more effectively while allowing faculty to oversee and mentor teams with greater efficiency. Real-time progress tracking helps guides and coordinators monitor milestones and deadlines via a visual dashboard, ensuring timely interventions. Task submissions are integrated with structured feedback mechanisms to foster continuous academic improvement. ProjectTrack also includes an issue tracking module for rapid problem resolution and automated report generation to minimize administrative workload. Role-based access control is implemented to ensure security and maintain clear communication channels among students, guides, and coordinators. By centralizing all essential project functions in one cohesive system, ProjectTrack fosters collaboration, transparency, and accountability across all academic roles. It reduces administrative overhead, enhances student engagement, and supports faculty in their mentoring responsibilities. Overall, ProjectTrack contributes to improved academic project workflows and promotes better project outcomes through structured, technology-driven management.
