Abstract

The college management system is a software application created with C programming and file handling methods. It serves as a centralized platform for overseeing diverse aspects of college operations, encompassing student details, course information, faculty records, enrollment management, attendance monitoring, grade administration, reporting, and administrative functions. It is designed to efficiently manage student, course, and faculty information in a college setting. The system utilizes files for data storage and conducts operations such as record creation, reading, updating, and deletion. It provides a user-friendly interface for easy interaction, validates input data for accuracy, and supports essential functionalities like enrollment management, attendance tracking, and grade management. The system generates reports and analytics based on stored data, ensures data security and backup, and automates administrative tasks to streamline operations. Overall, it offers an organized and efficient solution for college management using C programming and file handling concepts. At its core, the College Management System built with C programming and file handling is a marvel of data manipulation and organization. It serves as a centralized hub, effectively integrating different administrative tasks and information streams. Through the adept utilization of C’s robust programming constructs, the system provides a solid foundation for efficient data management, processing, and retrieval. With the enchanting capabilities of file handling, this system breathes life into the digitized corridors of academia. It facilitates the storage and retrieval of extensive data, encompassing student records, course information, faculty profiles, and financial transactions. Through the mastery of file handling operations, the system transforms mundane files into dynamic repositories of knowledge and insight. It establishes layers of authentication and encryption, resembling an impregnable fortress shielding the college’s digital assets.

Keywords: Data storage, file handling, CRUD operations, efficiency and organization
