Post-publication distribution of your research is one of the most important things. If your research is not easy to find, it cannot be read by your peers and help advance science or society.
Indexing databases provide the most common and accessible route to research and we work with all leading databases to make sure the research published in our journals is available to relevant research communities through these databases.
We aim to make all articles published with STM easy to find by the widest audience possible and so also work with search engines, social media platforms, discovery engines, and scholarly communication networks to make sure our authors' research can be found and read by the people that matter.

Immediately available to read and share

All articles published in our journals are immediately available for open access on Hindawi.com. They can be read, downloaded, and shared by any visitor to the site, without restriction. We also recognize the importance of text mining in helping to make research articles easier to find, understand and reuse and also provide the ability to download all the articles

Abstracting and indexing databases

Our publications appear in a wide range of abstracting and indexing databases, as detailed on the individual journal pages. Many of our journals appear in the leading multidisciplinary databases such as Scopus, and Web of Science. We work with all major abstracting and indexing databases to ensure that our journals are included in both general and subject-specific databases.

Search engines

All our article pages are optimized to perform as well as possible in search results across all search engines, in all regions (Google, Bing, Baidu, etc.). Many readers rely on search engines to discover relevant articles and journals and as all our articles are open access, and our journal sites are highly optimized, search engines easily identify, index and list our content – making it as easy to find and access as possible.

Social media and communication networks

Social media and community sites have become important platforms for the sharing and discovery of published research. To help facilitate this, on all articles we provide the option for readers to share across major social media sites with one click. We also manage social media accounts that promote and share research with relevant research communities.
