Abstract

nThe demand for quick as well as efficient food delivery options has escalated, especially in the digital era for sought-after items such as pizza. Existing systems often lack any real-time communication, and due to order status being uncertain, customer dissatisfaction subsequently arises. This project aims to develop a real-time pizza order tracker app using Node.js, Express.js, as well as MongoDB, to address these gaps by providing instant updates and a smooth user experience. The application will have a strong login system that uses cookies and sessions, together with the database serving as the session store, and it will also include user registration in addition to role management. The system will also incorporate a certain shopping cart, and it will track real-time pizza status through particular private web socket connections by using Socket.io. Tailwind CSS is going to be employed for the frontend, and EJS is going to be the template engine; therefore, the app is going to ensure a modern and responsive user interface. This decision guarantees for a great user experience. This study matters because it will enhance customer satisfaction by updating orders in real-time, help businesses manage orders more easily, and demonstrate how modern web development technologies can build efficient and responsive applications well. Addressing this particular problem is quite important for the purpose of improving the operational efficiency of food delivery services, and also for ensuring a positive user experience; these aforementioned factors are indeed necessary within the highly competitive food delivery market.nn
