The difficulties of residing in a tiny flat are: We all have a tendency to acquire items when we reside in a property for a few years. How to organize Design well to maximize space. We must consider the function of a room while developing its lawet and, on the basis of that, divide the area into compact functional zones. For instance, we might need to convert the living room into an additional sleeping section if we require seats for our family and visitors. In this instance, pick a couch bed that satisfies both requirements. Remember that furnishings accessories are equally crucial and shouldn’t be burdensome, so pay close attention to the design specifics. Roller blinds and double-glazed Venetian blinds, for instance, are ideal for tiny apartments since they take up very little space and are simple to maintain. Abstract

n This paper provides an overview of the construction market in Sri Lanka, with a focus on the Colombo region. It discusses the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and constraints of the construction market in the country. The main drivers of the construction sector are identified, including urbanization and infrastructure development. The paper explores the ease of embarking on international construction projects within the Colombo region, noting that while the Sri Lankan government encourages foreign investment, the local construction industry may not always welcome foreign companies. China and India are recognized as key players in the Sri Lankan construction sector. The ease of embarking on international construction projects within the Colombo region is explored. It is noted that while the Sri Lankan government allows foreign investment in infrastructure projects, the local construction industry is not always receptive to foreign construction companies. China and India are identified as key players in the Sri Lankan construction sector, with China playing a major role in funding and building major projects in the country. The main drivers of the construction sector are highlighted, such as urbanization and the government’s plans for the development of new cities. The importance of infrastructure development and improving energy supply is emphasized as key drivers for economic growth. The paper also highlights the key operational and commercial challenges faced by companies seeking to undertake international construction projects in the region, including political and legal issues, cultural differences, technical limitations, managerial challenges, economic constraints, environmental concerns, social factors, and corruption. The conclusion emphasizes the need for project managers to understand the local environment, remain flexible, and address the challenges associated with international construction projects in Sri Lanka. It also underscores the importance of foreign investment in the construction sector for the region’s economic developmentn

    Abstract

n This paper provides an overview of the construction market in Sri Lanka, with a focus on the Colombo region.

    Abstract

n The world has always experienced change. Water-too much or too little is the most common cause of migration and a city’s downfall. The notable and significant distinction right now is that we are seeing it in real-time for the first time in human history. We contributed to the dangers that were produced, and we contributed to the remedies that will influence the pace and scope of change and disruption. We haven’t really learned much from recent history, one could argue. We haven’t left the floodplains; instead, we’ve expanded inside of them, destroying any natural features that may have shielded us from natural disasters. We are located near earthquake faults, storm, and tsunami pathways. The ecological advantages of the coastal zone ecologies, which support all life, have not been respected. Opportunities to direct growth and development have been turned down. Instead, we create default land-use patterns that are frequently immoral and ineffective. All of these actions have a negative impact on the environment, the economy, and our families. We have dumped our rubbish into the very water reservoirs that supply our kids’ drinking water. But this time, we are more knowledgeable and capable. We have improved at grasping the larger picture. We have advanced technological skills in mapping and data resource analysis, and in some circumstances, real-time satellite weather monitoring, enabling preparation for some (but not all) extreme weather occurrences. We are intrigued by the special ability of the creative spirit. The threat of flooding is no longer specific to any one area, nation, or region but has spread worldwide. Floods now happen more frequently than ever before, which affects any location’s socioeconomic structure. The frequency and severity of floods have increased to the point where they can occasionally become catastrophic and out of control. In the absence of such technology, a variety of tools, techniques, and data that can play a crucial role in forecasting, controlling, and mitigating various natural threats, such as floods, earthquakes, etc., were either impossible to gather or were extremely difficult and time-consuming to do so. It’s time to recognize, comprehend, and respect natural drainage systems, and entire ecosystems, with the least amount of human intervention, and to learn how to adapt to floods and other inevitable natural events. Resilience is the primary design strategy that can support all the planning processes that can establish a symbiotic relationship with various natural processes and phenomena because we also realize that all the different types of events, such as climate change, earthquakes, tidal waves, or even flooding, are natural events and their occurrences are part of the evolution of the current earth’s landscape.n

    Abstract

n The world has always experienced change. Water-too much or too little is the most common cause of migration and a city’s downfall. The notable and significant distinction right now is that we are seeing it in real-time for the first time in human history. We contributed to the dangers that were produced, and we contributed to the remedies that will influence the pace and scope of change and disruption. One could argue that we haven’t really learned much from recent history. We are intrigued by the special ability
of the creative spirit. The threat of flooding is no longer specific to any one area, nation, or region but has spread worldwide. Floods now happen more frequently than ever before, which affects any location’s socioeconomic structure. The frequency and severity of floods have increased to the point
where they can occasionally become catastrophic and out of control. In the absence of such technology, a variety of tools, techniques, and data that can play a crucial role in forecasting, controlling, and mitigating various natural threats, such as floods, earthquakes, and so on, were either impossible to
gather or were extremely difficult and time-consuming to do so. It is time to recognize, comprehend, and respect natural drainage systems, and entire ecosystems, with the least amount of human intervention, and to learn how to adapt to floods and other inevitable natural events.

    Abstract

n We see that there is a considerable change in their style when come with the same in urban areas. Life and living of rural people is viewed in terms of demography, employment and asset structure, agriculture and allied activities, rural poverty and livelihood, social and cultural issues, institutions, government schemes/programs, village-level amenities and linkages, energy utilization patterns, recent changes and development in the villages and surrounding areas, issues related to water supply, sanitation, solid waste management, public transport, water source development and water conservation, education, recreational facilities, health facilities, and information and communication technologies. The main objectives of rural study are to understand the location, spatial and economic linkages, the social and physical infrastructure, and the availability and usage of local resources of the villages. Furthermore, the study will investigate the present problems and future possibilities in the village and propose strategies to improve the condition and development of the village. The main purpose of the study is to prepare a comprehensive, realistic, and practical blueprint for the development of the village.n

    n Special Issue Descriptionn

Electricity was intended to be provided to farms by the REA. Due to the high cost of bringing electricity to rural areas, nearly 90% of farms lacked electricity in 1936. The process of bringing electricity to rural and remote locations is known as rural electrification. Due to the national grids’ ability to supply all the electricity needed by rural populations, many areas are experiencing massive market failures. faster implementation that, by ensuring reliable access to power, can boost local employment and the local economy. Utilizing locally accessible resources aids in energy independence and security. free of pollution and sustainable. Rural electrification boosted farm employment, farm population, and rural property values in the short term, but had little effect on the surrounding non-agricultural economy. Benefits outweighed historical expenses, even in thinly populated rural areas. Electricity availability supports long-term development of the economy and society. First, by an increase in academic performance. With the advent of LED lighting, students who were previously compelled to study during the day can now do it in the early morning or well into the night. For example, interviews with school teachers in Kenya revealed that having access to light has enabled them to add extra hours of instruction earlier and later in the day to cover content that cannot be sufficiently covered during regular hours. Additionally, schools with access to electricity have witnessed advances in test scores and graduation rates as well as the ability to recruit instructors of a higher caliber, increasing the human capital entering the labor force in the future.
