Abstract
This study outlines the steps taken to sustain and relocate a mini powerhouse for a 5 kW steam power plant, addressing previous structural and environmental inefficiencies. Due to corrosion, instability, and inadequate thermal management at the original site, a new location was selected and reinforced to meet these challenges. Key changes included site preparation involving granites and other structural support materials, enhanced thermal insulation, and improved ventilation systems. Performance evaluations would lead to improvements in stability, durability, and efficiency, reducing internal powerhouse temperature and minimizing structural wear. This study provides a model for enhancing small-scale power generation facilities. The mini powerhouse is designed to harness steam energy in an optimized, cost-effective manner, utilizing renewable energy sources while minimizing environmental impact. The system features a compact design capable of generating sufficient power for remote or off-grid locations. Through the careful selection of materials, energy-efficient components, and innovative engineering practices, the project strives to create a sustainable power generation solution that can contribute to local energy needs while promoting sustainability. This paper outlines the design process, challenges faced, and the potential impact of the mini powerhouse in the context of global efforts to reduce carbon emissions and increase the use of renewable energy sources.
