Special Issue Description

This special issue focuses on the methods, practices, and challenges of concurrent engineering for design and manufacturing. With the increasing complexity and interdependence of design and manufacturing processes, there is a growing need for concurrent engineering methods that can enable seamless collaboration and integration between different stakeholders and domains. This special issue invites original research articles, reviews, and case studies that highlight the latest developments in concurrent engineering for design and manufacturing. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to share their latest findings and insights into the use of concurrent engineering for design and manufacturing, to advance the state-of-the-art in this field.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
