[This article belongs to Special Issue Cancer therapy that targets tumor metabolism under section rrjomst, rrjomst in (rrjomst, rrjomst)]

        Special Issue Description

Cancer cells independently modify numerous metabolic pathways to accommodate the higher bioenergetic demands and reduce oxidative damage. The abnormal buildup of metabolites may potentially encourage the development of tumors. Because of the intimate connection between metabolic reprogramming and tumor progression, we are now learning more about the metabolic pathways that enable tumor growth and survival. The discovery of metabolic oncology inhibitors has made recent strides, opening up new avenues for the treatment of cancer. This Topic intends to highlight the most recent developments in unique, exciting treatment approaches and drug delivery strategies that target tumor metabolism at the fundamental, translational, and clinical levels. Review articles and original research pieces are also encouraged.
