      Special Issue Description

Judging by the breadth of research going on about the use of polymers for energy generation, one can quickly figure out how important this is going to be in the future, which of course necessitates the existence of this topic in our special issue series and hence Journal of Polymers & Composites have started this special issue “Polymer for Energy Generation”. This special issue aims to provide cutting-edge research on polymers for energy generation. In several sectors, including transportation, packaging, healthcare, and buildings, polymers are already essential in reducing energy and resource use but now scientists have started several avenues for the usage of polymers in energy generation also. Many types of research have been going on in this field whether on energy assembly or energy storage. Nowadays scientists have been working on energy application schemes for polymers, due to their controllable resistance over a wide range, cost-effectiveness, high conductivity (>103 S cm−1), light weight, flexibility, and excellent electrochemical properties.

      Keywords

Conducting polymer, Energy assembly, Energy storage, Dye-sensitized electric cell, Light emitting and sensing, Perovskite electric cell, Thermoelectrical generator, Polymer composite for thermoelectrical generator, Piezoelectric, Triboelectric generator, Supercapacitor

      Manuscript Submission information

Manuscripts should be submitted online by registering and logging in to this link. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed.
Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the email address:[email protected] for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for the submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page.
