This special issue aims to showcase the latest research on electro-mechanical systems for automation and robotics, including novel designs and architectures, advanced sensing and actuation techniques, and intelligent control and decision-making algorithms. We invite original research articles, reviews, and perspectives that highlight the most recent developments in this field.
