Special Issue Description

A form of a medical ailment known as a degenerative disease causes a tissue or organ to degenerate over time. There are a lot of degenerative diseases, and many of them are brought on by aging or worsen as we become older. Cardiovascular, neoplastic, and nervous system illnesses make up the three primary categories of degenerative diseases. Myocardial infarction, hypertension, and coronary disease are the most prevalent cardiovascular diseases. Tumors and cancer are examples of neoplastic disorders. Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s are two illnesses that impact the neurological system. Numerous different things can lead to degenerative illnesses. Some are a direct outcome of the body’s natural aging process, while others are brought on by ill health or an unhealthy lifestyle. There is a vast range in the symptoms of degenerative diseases. Each type has its unique set of signs and symptoms, while some are present in many different disorders. Early on in their development, certain degenerative diseases show no symptoms at all. For instance, early-stage cancer may not show any symptoms, but if a malignant tumor is large enough to be seen, it will start to show a range of symptoms.
