    Special Issue Description

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the design of polymeric drug delivery systems is revolutionizing modern pharmaceutical and biomedical research. Polymeric drug delivery systems, which use biocompatible polymers to control the release, targeting, and bioavailability of drugs, are essential for improving therapeutic outcomes and reducing side effects. AI techniques, including machine learning (ML), deep learning, and neural networks, can analyze vast datasets to predict polymer-drug interactions, optimize formulation parameters, and simulate drug release kinetics. By leveraging AI algorithms, researchers can significantly reduce the time and cost associated with experimental trials and accelerate the development of personalized and precision drug delivery systems. This interdisciplinary approach combines materials science, pharmaceutical technology, and computational intelligence to pave the way for smarter, safer, and more effective therapeutic solutions.
