      Special Issue Description

Polymer Science and Nanotechnology are the most promising fields in today’s world with an ever-growing and never-ending research scope. Journal of Polymer & Composites has come up with a special issue where researchers can submit their research works using these trending topics, where they will be using nanotechnology along with polymer science and will give revolutionizing research to the whole world. The use of nanotechnology in polymer science or vice versa is not new, it has been done for ages, but the term nanotechnology came into existence a little later. Nanotechnology and polymer science have already given us some miraculous research like Polymer matrix-based nanocomposites, nanocrystalline metals, etc. Since nanotechnology and polymer science go together, If we consider the products developed via nanotechnology, then polymer science will be considered as well. Polymers are the only materials that provide desired flexibility, processability, and functionality to the Nanoproducts. Nanotechnology and polymer science have various applications in diverse fields, like medicine, electrical, electronics, chemistry, computer science, civil engineering, etc. Recently the use of polymer science in nanotechnology has increased from using it in biomedical applications such as targeted drug delivery to electrical applications such as electro-spun nanofibers. No matter what the category of field is whenever and wherever nanotechnology and polymer science have been used together the result has always been a boon to the world. These emerging fields together are the best pair possible.

      Manuscript Submission information

Manuscripts should be submitted online by registering and logging in to this link. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed.
Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the email address:[email protected] for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for the submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page.
