        Special Issue Description

        Immunotherapy is a form of cancer treatment that makes use of the patient’s immune system. Immunotherapy can alter or enhance the immune system’s functioning to help it identify and combat cancer cells. Knowing how immunotherapy works and what to anticipate can frequently help you be ready for treatment and make knowledgeable decisions about your care if your treatment plan includes it. Monoclonal antibodies, Checkpoint Inhibitors. Checkpoint inhibitors, Cytokines, Vaccines to treat cancer, CAR T-cell therapy, etc. are the various types of cancer immunotherapy. Lowered blood counts brought on by immunotherapy may result in bleeding, anemia, and other issues. Lungs. Immune checkpoint inhibitors have the potential to result in pneumonitis, an inflammation of the lungs that can lead to a cough or breathing difficulties. Although uncommon, pneumonitis can be dangerous. In this special issue, we are inviting you to submit your research work focused on medical oncology, cell culture, gene therapy, and immunotherapy for the international journal of oncological Nursing.
