        Special Issue Description

Evidence-based nursing (EBN) is a method for making wise judgments and giving nursing care that is based on both the most recent, pertinent research and the individual clinician’s clinical experience. The core of this strategy is evidence-based practice (EBP). EBN uses cutting-edge care delivery techniques that have been validated by analysis of high-caliber studies and statistically significant research findings. The objective of EBN is to enhance patient health and safety while also delivering treatment in a way that is economical to enhance outcomes for both the patient and the healthcare system. EBN is a method built on the gathering, analyzing, appraising, and integrating of reliable, therapeutically relevant, and useful research. Seven categories of evidence that vary in research type and level of quality can be used to categorize the evidence used to modify practice or make a clinical judgment. The nurse’s expertise, the patient’s preferences, and various analyses of the evidence must all be combined and used to offer a suitable solution to the task at hand while implementing EBN.
