        Special Issue Description

A cutting-edge surgical subspecialty known as “interventional neurosurgery” uses imaging to guide minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic operations for cerebrovascular, head and neck and spinal problems. It resembles the heart-related procedures that cardiologists do, like angioplasty and stent implantation. Instead of doing open surgery, interventional neurology uses instruments that can pass into blood vessels to detect and treat illnesses and problems. The main goal of interventional neurology is to present clinical and laboratory research on endovascular methods and other interventional therapies used in the treatment of stroke. Interventional investigations for spinal cord illnesses, intracranial malignancies, and cerebrovascular diseases are given more attention. These procedures use minimally invasive methods, which reduce blood loss, rather than open surgery. These operations are being carried out at the world’s most cutting-edge facilities and are known to reduce hospital stays and patient recovery times. In this special issue, we are inviting you to discuss all the advantages, disadvantages, and scope of interventional Neurology for the international journal of Neurology Nursing.
