        Special Issue Description

A series of conditions known as neurodevelopmental disorders impact how the nervous system develops, which results in aberrant brain activity that can impair memory, learning ability, emotion, and self-control. Neurodevelopmental problems typically have a lifetime-long impact on a person. Numerous neurodevelopmental diseases have varying degrees of related symptoms and severity, which have an impact on a person’s mental, emotional, physical, and financial well-being as well as those of their families, social networks, and society as a whole. Neurodevelopmental diseases have primarily unidentified etiology as of yet. There may occasionally be a genetic component; neurodevelopmental disorders may run in some families. Additionally, some events or pregnancy-related factors may contribute to the development of these illnesses, according to researchers. There are successful therapy approaches that, depending on the disease, may help regulate some of the signs and symptoms but there is no cure for neurodevelopmental disorders. There are medications out there that could help with anxiety, agitation, and hyperactivity.
