        Special Issue Description

The second leading cause of death in the world is cancer. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that 10 million people will die from cancer worldwide in 2020. For effective treatment and to stop cancer cells from spreading to other body areas, early identification of cancer is crucial (Metastasis). Discovery, diagnosis, and treatment planning have all been revolutionized by artificial intelligence (AI). In addition to helping with cancer detection, it can also help with cancer therapy design, finding novel therapeutic targets by speeding up drug discovery, and enhancing cancer surveillance by looking at patient and cancer statistics. AI-guided cancer treatment may also improve clinical management and screening with better health outcomes. The biological mechanisms underlying the origin, growth, and metastasis of cancer can be discovered with the aid of Machine Learning (ML) algorithms built based on biology and computer sciences. They can also be utilized by doctors and surgeons to develop effective cancer diagnosis and treatment plans, as well as by the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors to find new drugs more quickly.

        Manuscript Submission information

Manuscripts should be submitted online by registering and logging in to this link. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed.
Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent on email address:[email protected] for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page.
