        Special Issue Description

        The world is changing quickly, and to support the many uses of the growing Internet of Things, intelligent connected networks are essential (IoT). A new sixth-generation (6G) radio is needed to support the vast array of linked items because of the changing communication needs of the connected world. The key difficulty is managing the energy used by billions of linked devices that support extensive Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Due to the energy limitations of various IoT devices and linked nodes, energy-aware solutions are required to ensure seamless information transfer between these communication nodes. In an enlarged IoT network that is 6G enabled, this article offers an intelligent network solution for increased energy efficiency. For the best network resource allocation and maximum energy efficiency, cell-free massive multiple input multiple output (mMIMO) technology is used.
