        Special Issue Description

Urbanization has both beneficial and negative effects on the urban region itself as well as the surrounding hinterlands, which are the areas where distinctly urban and distinctly rural areas converge. Using the mean ranking of each item of the perceived impact of urbanization on the hinterlands as perceived by household heads, the impact on seven areas, including the environment, women and youth, politics and administration, village society, household economy, and village economy. Urbanism is a way of life that generally refers to the development of a distinctive culture in urban areas. Urbanization is the increase in the population of cities relative to the population of rural areas. Urban areas everywhere are diverse urban locales with different factors, such as population size and density, facilities thought to be available in urban regions, the main economic activities of the populace, etc., defined. The original occupancy of these communities, which is not under the pace of urban expansion, is now in danger as the pace of development in towns has begun to stifle living conditions.
