The creation and use of a test system for low-voltage power lines

Special Issue Description

It investigated low voltage power line communication performance test methodology in the development of smart grids under the communication channel characteristics. The fixed time interval communication-based spectrum scan combination approach was suggested. It created an automated method to test the system’s carrier communication to evaluate the carrier module’s communication capabilities. The system modified the communication channel characteristics and evaluated the highest level of three different carrier technology solutions with various center frequencies. The findings demonstrate that the system is capable of testing smart meters’ and acquisition terminals’ operational parameters with accuracy.
