Abstract

This study examines digital detox—the deliberate limitation of screen exposure—and its influence on mental health. A survey of 30 participants indicated that reducing screen time by at least two hours daily resulted in a 30% improvement in sleep quality, a 25% decrease in stress levels, and a 20% enhancement in overall mood stability. Statistical analysis (p < 0.05) confirmed these results. Additionally, participants following a structured digital detox plan reported a 40% increase in productivity and a 35% improvement in focus. The research integrates empirical data, mathematical modeling, and visual analytics, establishing a robust connection between screen overuse and cognitive strain. The results underscore the necessity of digital detox practices to mitigate the adverse psychological effects of excessive screen consumption. Practical recommendations are provided for incorporating digital detox into daily routines to improve cognitive function and psychological resilience.
