Homeopathy, based on the principle “like cures like”, has gained popularity as a complementary treatment for chronic diseases, including depression and asthma. Both health conditions have a profound impact on  the  quality of life  of   individuals  and are often treated with pharmacological interventions such as antidepressants and bronchodilators. This review reviews homeopathic remedies used to   treat depression and asthma, evaluating the available clinical evidence.  Although some studies suggest that homeopathy can provide   relief   from   symptoms, particularly through individualized care, the  scientific evidence remains inconclusive. The review highlights the mechanisms of action of common homeopathic remedies, including Ignatia Amara, Natrum Muriaticum, Arsenicum Album  and  Sulphur,  for depression and asthma. The results suggest that  while more rigorous research is needed to  prove  the effectiveness of homeopathy, it  can  complement conventional treatments,  especially  for those  looking   for  alternatives to standard medical approaches.

Keywords: Homeopathy, depression, asthma, alternative medicine etc.
