Abstract
Tuberculosis is the commonest co-infection among PLHA (HIV/AIDS). An appropriate measure for controlling TB spread in community of high TB/HIV burden state that requires intervention strategies against this dual epidemic which include intensified case finding at ART centers, involvement of health care delivery system, and Non-Government Organizations for early detection of TB and HIV, counselling and support, provision of daily patient’s weight band-wise FDD, ATT for TB, cotrimoxazole preventive/ prophylaxis therapy (CPT) and Highly active anti-Retro viral Treatment (HAART) at the integrated centers.
