Abstract

n
nThe integration of Electronic Health Records (EHR) represents a pivotal advancement in enhancing healthcare delivery in India. Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems are designed with the primary objective of centralizing, organizing, and digitizing patient-related data. By creating a unified digital platform, EHRs enable healthcare providers to easily access and share critical medical information across different departments, institutions, and geographical locations. This streamlined flow of data ensures that healthcare professionals are well-informed when making clinical decisions, reducing the risk of errors, duplication of tests, and unnecessary delays. As a result, patient care becomes more accurate, efficient, and personalized. Furthermore, EHR systems contribute significantly to enhancing patient safety, improving health outcomes, and elevating the overall quality and coordination of healthcare services. The challenges must be resolved by proper policies, by technological advancement, and the system support by involving all stakeholders. With proper cooperation from the stakeholders, EHR integration can revolutionize health service delivery and improve patient care outcomes for this nation.nn
