Abstract

Ayurveda’s significance is seen all around the world. Treatments based on Ayurveda have the potential to have a big impact on the world. The contribution, however, is the Indian Vedic Science, which was established in antiquity by Indian saints. Our Vedas and Upanishads support the concept of Ayurveda, which is covered in the Atharva Veda. But as our history demonstrates, Ayurvedic science has seen ups and downs. Today, its importance on a global, medical, and socio-economic level represents a turning point for the nation’s progress and the well-being of its people. Globalization is primarily an economic process that links and integrates people, businesses, and governments all over the world, resulting in increased international trade, cultural interchange, technology, and understanding of ideas. Ayurveda has extended to sophisticated nations in recent decades, and these countries are beginning to adopt the Indian medical system. Since the beginning of the globalization movement, various other countries have expressed interest in this medical system. The Indian AYUSH Ministry has been established, and it has spoken with nations to whom India has links. The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) is a separate entity under AYUSH that supports the global dissemination of Indian culture, notably Ayurveda. With its headquarters in New Delhi and connections in other nations, the ICCR provides a variety of courses, including Ayurvedic, to anyone who wishes to take part and return home with the information.
