Abstract

nDigital transformation and industry change are fueled by a combination of cloud computing and the Internet of Things (IoT). While cloud computing gives scalable resources for processing, storage, and advanced analytics, IoT allows devices to gather, distribute, and analyze data in real time. This connection supports big data and machine learning-driven applications and enhances data management and operational efficiency across industries, such as smart cities, industrial automation, healthcare, and agriculture. Despite its advantages, synergy has drawbacks such as latency, security flaws, and interoperability problems. These problems are being handled by ongoing developments in edge computing, blockchain, and AI-driven security, which fortify the cloud-IoT ecosystem. This study discusses the fundamentals of cloud and IoT integration, their integrated architecture, real-world applications, and challenges that must be overcome to reach their full potential. Future developments promise to transform our relationships with technology and the outside world by creating more resilient, safe, and intelligent systems.nn
