nRecent studies have seen a surge of interest has surged in the sustainability and long-term enduring viability of composites of natural fiber-reinforced polymers. Owing to their elevated specific strength, they are often used in practical physical applications to produce lightweight components. This article reviews and studies the properties, manufacturing processes, and extraction methods of Abaca fiber. Additionally, it provides a brief overview of the preparation and properties, such as mechanical and physical characteristics of Abaca fiber-reinforced polymer composites. In comparison to the wide variety of other natural fibers available, including the wide variety and range of natural fibers accessible in the market, Abaca fiber stands out as an important contributor to the development and advancement of natural fiber-reinforced polymer composites. It exhibits significant potential as a sustainable fiber and as well as a renewable bio-resource for various scientific and industrial applications and different scientific and manufacturing uses, attributed to its exceptionally long fiber length, high mechanical strength, flexibility, and durability. The significance of different treatment methods, such as alkali and benzenediazonium. Benzenediazonium chloride-based surface treatments during the preparation of Abaca-based composites leads to enhanced leads to an enhancement of their properties compared to neat polymer materials and composites with synthetic fibers. Furthermore, this review highlights the existing research gaps in the available literature, revealing a scarcity of studies focusing on the mechanical properties of abaca fiber composites using different polymer matrices and the scarcity of investigations centered on the mechanical properties of Abaca composites employing various polymer matrices.nn
