Traditionally viewed as repositories of books, libraries are now evolving into dynamic community hubs. But even with this change, many libraries are dealing with a drop in patronage in a world that is becoming more digital.libraries face declining user engagement in an increasingly digital world. This research investigates effective strategies to revitalise library engagement and ensure its enduring relevance. Drawing from professional experience in an educational institution’s library, it is observed that students increasingly prefer online search engines over physical library visits, leading to a decline in the usage of valuable resources, including rare and expensive books. Physical books with more authentic information can help users learn or know more about all users. So we can try to share more relevant information with the required students and make them happy to use the library. We library professionals should have a positive attitude with a smile on our faces, including deep knowledge about the resources in the library, so we can properly guide students or users. This study explores user motivations, assesses library practices, and proposes evidence-based strategies to enhance user engagement. The findings will offer actionable insights for libraries to adapt to changing user behaviours, create inviting environments, and leverage modern technologies. By addressing user needs and fostering a vibrant community around libraries, this research seeks to empower these institutions to thrive in the digital age and continue serving as essential centres for learning, discovery, and connection.
