Abstract
The banking sector is the pillar of the economy but now it has become the complete foundation of it. Business industries are developing, and the banking sector also benefits by expanding its activities. Other banking services charges are the medium of generating opportunity to getting more non fund base income. Nowadays banking sector has taken advantages of new technology for providing better services to their customers with less charges. Traditional banking technologies have evolved, transitioning to newer, digitized systems and network-based banking services. In all, the process of demonetization banking sector is having center position of any debate. After note ban there are so many factors are affected and till today these all factors are facing same difficulties and also some positive outcome we can seen in such sectors. This study is mainly focused on public sector banks’ growing NPAs and how it was stabilized from last two years. we cannot ignore the banking sector’s role in the process of demonetization.
