Abstract

Modern educational institutions increasingly require connected and intelligent digital systems to manage student information and attendance efficiently. This paper presents CoreSight, an Artificial Intelligence-based smart student management and attendance system designed to improve academic administration through automation and facial recognition technology. The CoreSight system combines a student information portal with a face recognition module that works in time. This means that the proposed CoreSight system can identify students accurately and mark their attendance automatically. It also helps to keep student records organized and generates documents for students. Traditional ways of taking attendance and managing student data can be very slow. Are often done by hand. This can lead to mistakes and people taking attendance on behalf of others. The CoreSight system solves these problems by automating how data is processed and keeping records that are easy to understand. The backend of the CoreSight system is built using the FastAPI framework. This framework is very good at handling requests and processing data in time. The CoreSight system uses OpenCV and the face_recognition library to recognize faces. This makes sure that students are identified quickly and correctly. The CoreSight system also stores attendance data in a way and generates monthly attendance reports on its own. The CoreSight system also creates documents for students that have their personal, academic and contact information. This reduces the amount of work administrators have to do and minimizes mistakes made by people. The proposed CoreSight system is designed to be used by institutions that have a lot of students. It is meant to be easy to use, accurate and efficient. The CoreSight system uses computer vision. Automates the backend to make attendance management faster and more reliable. It also improves how academic records are handled overall. The CoreSight system shows how Artificial Intelligence can be used in a way in educational settings. It provides a solution, for making campus administration systems smarter and more efficient.
