Abstract

The progress of artificial intelligence (AI) has brought about a remarkable change in the educational system. It has paved the way for the development of new educational paradigms like adaptive, personalized, and data-driven digital learning environments, replacing the old ones which were more or less teacher-cantered. In the new digital world, AI technologies have become the main drivers for educational systems to go digital and for human teachers to shift their methods from old to new ones, to increase the possibility of learning and to inclusivity. The AI applications of various kinds (e.g., intelligent tutoring systems, adaptive learning platforms, and automated assessment mechanisms) integration into digital pedagogy is now a critical topic. Through a combination of theory and practice, it investigates the role of AI in stimulating interaction with learners, personalizing learning paths, and providing continuous assessment along the way. AI-driven platforms can process learner data in huge volumes to recognize patterns, forecast results, and give specific feedback, thus, dealing with pupils’ differences in terms of learning pace, style, and ability. Besides, clever machines can assist teachers in their daily activities by doing things like grading and keeping track of students’ progress, which will leave more time for teachers to engage in higher-order pedagogical activities like mentoring and being creative. Still, the adoption of AI in education brings forth serious issues regarding data privacy, algorithmic transparency, and fairness, as well as the divide between the digitally advantaged and the disadvantaged. These obstacles call for the establishment of ethical governance frameworks and the application of inclusive design principles to make sure that AI promotes human-centric education rather than taking its place.
