Abstract
Making drugs that are covered by plastics is a fresh and useful way to make medicines work better, last longer, and treat diseases better. Putting drugs inside polymer materials helps them breakdown better, stays in the body longer, and lowers the number of side effects they cause. This is necessary to slowly release the drug and help people stick to their treatment plan. Polymers are used to wrap drugs. This study looks at how these drugs work in the body and how stable they are. It looks at how the polymers’ properties change how the drugs are released and how well they work in the body. To wrap drugs, different kinds of plastic are used, some of which break down naturally and some of which don’t. It’s important to know how safe they are for the body and how stable they stay in the body’s surroundings. This is how the drug interacts with the polymer matrix; this helps manage how quickly it is released and keeps the compounds inside fixed. ADME is the study of how drugs wrapped in polymers work in the body. It looks at how they are absorbed, distributed, broken down, and flushed out. This paper is mostly about how these processes change because of the polymer carriers. Researchers have found that polymer coats can make a drug stay in the body for a lot longer, lower the amount of drug that is largest in the blood, and provide a longer-lasting effect for treatment. This is also done to see how safe the drugs inside the polymers are when exposed to different things, such as changes in temperature, acidity, and light.
