Abstract

Soil health and fertility evaluation are foundational elements in the sustainable management of ecosystems and the enhancement of agricultural productivity. Accurate assessment of soil properties, especially Carbon (C), Nitrogen (N), and Phosphorus (P), is critical for informed decision-making in agriculture and environmental conservation. However, traditional laboratory methods for analyzing these essential nutrients often involve significant resource allocation and time commitments, making them less practical for large-scale or time-sensitive applications. To address the growing demands of precision agriculture, advanced physico-chemical analytical methods have been developed as efficient and cost-effective alternatives. These innovative techniques offer rapid and comprehensive evaluations of soil fertility, enabling the detailed assessment of primary nutrients (C, N, P) alongside essential micronutrients that influence plant health and yield. By integrating these methods into agricultural research and practice, stakeholders gain a holistic understanding of soil characteristics and nutrient dynamics. The broader implications of this research framework extend beyond immediate analytical advantages. It supports the optimization of agricultural practices tailored to specific site conditions, enhancing productivity while promoting sustainable land use. Furthermore, this approach aligns with global sustainable development objectives, particularly the goals outlined in Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 15, which emphasize the conservation and sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems. By fostering a deeper understanding of soil systems, this methodology contributes to the long-term resilience of ecosystems and the sustainability of agricultural practices.
