Abstract
Ruesi Datton, often referred to as Thai Yoga, is a traditional Thai practice with deep cultural and therapeutic significance. Rooted in Thai Buddhist and monastic traditions, it combines stretching, self-massage, breath control, and meditation to promote holistic well-being. Unlike other forms of yoga, Ruesi Datton emphasizes self-care through its simple, accessible techniques, making it suitable for all ages and physical conditions. This review explores the philosophical foundations, practical techniques, and health benefits of Ruesi Datton, highlighting its therapeutic applications in stress management and physical rehabilitation. With rising global interest in mind-body practices, Ruesi Datton is increasingly integrated into wellness and healthcare programs. Comparative analysis with other yoga forms demonstrates its uniqueness in self-massage and accessibility. Current trends indicate its growing presence in the wellness industry, especially in corporate and clinical settings. As research on its benefits expands, Ruesi Datton holds immense potential for promoting holistic health and cultural preservation. Further studies are encouraged to explore its integration into mainstream healthcare.
