This comprehensive review delves into current trends and recent advancements shaping the field of dentistry across multiple disciplines. It covers oral anatomy, diagnostic methodologies, preventive and restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, dental education, and ethical considerations.The article explores advancements in imaging technologies, biomarkers, and dental materials, as well as innovations in preventive care, dental implants, root canal therapies, and periodontal treatments. It emphasizes the integration of digital technologies in orthodontics and surgical procedures, highlighting their transformative impact on treatment outcomes and patient comfort.Ethical issues surrounding patient rights and informed consent are critically examined within the context of modern dental practices, ensuring ethical standards are upheld as technology advances.Looking forward, emerging technologies such as 3D printing and artificial intelligence are recognized for their potential to revolutionize diagnostic capabilities, treatment planning processes, and personalized patient care management.In summary, this review underscores the dynamic evolution of dentistry, where ongoing scientific progress and technological breakthroughs continuously redefine standards of care and elevate oral health outcomes globally.
