Special Issue Description

Numerous cultural organizations, including museums, cultural and historical archives, libraries, and universities, can benefit from the widespread availability of the Internet. The web is a way to give a digital (virtual) representation of nearly any form of an exhibit to any interested user if such institutions want to gather, preserve, and finally expose numerous exhibits from the real world to public or professional audiences. Initially, the web’s technology was viewed as a platform for productive labor. It is still practical to show cultural heritage items like paintings, engravings, canvases, and other two-dimensional artworks in this manner. The web’s ability to offer spatial (3D) objects, sceneries, and surroundings, on the other hand, is less well-known and widely embraced by average users.
