Special Issue Description

Unfortunately, most farmers, especially small and marginal farmers, cannot afford high-quality seeds due to the high cost of superior seeds. Manures, fertilizers, and biocides: For hundreds of years, Indian soils have been used to grow crops without much concern for replenishing. those who work in the villages doing farming and other related farming activities. They may grow food crops, monocultures, raise cattle, hunt, harvest, and engage in other activities, but their farming activities rely on the seasons and the environment. We receive our dietary needs from them. Since everyone needs healthy food to survive, they are essential to society. Farmers are available in a variety of forms. But they’re all equally important. The distribution, makeup, and administration of land and water resources all have a significant impact on the prevalence of rural poverty. Among the interrelated causes of pervasive rural poverty are their skewed distribution, their inherent low production, and poor husbandry. That amount of arable land per inhabitant is dwindling. It decreased from 0.48 Hectares in 1952 to 0.16 Hectares in 1991, and it is predicted that it will continue to decrease until it reaches 0.08 Hectare in 2035. The undulating, hilly, and mountainous regions, which are typified by widespread rural poverty, serve as a potent illustration of this. Since most of the Indian population is agrarian, any effort to reduce poverty and generate employment must necessarily address the issues of effective and optimal management of land and water in an integrated manner. India has enough natural resources to provide its citizens with a respectable quality of living, provided their capacity to meet are optimized and their management is streamlined.
