With the increasing complexity and diversity of design and manufacturing requirements, there is a growing need for optimization methods that can handle multiple conflicting objectives and constraints. This special issue invites original research articles, reviews, and case studies that address the latest developments in multi-objective optimization of design and manufacturing processes. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to share their latest findings and insights into the use of multi-objective optimization in design and manufacturing processes, intending to advance the state-of-the-art in this field.
