Special Issue Description

The total state of human health is affected by all medical specialties, but some have a more significant effect than others. The surgical treatment of problems affecting any part of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system, is the focus of the medical specialty known as neurosurgery, also known as neurological surgery or brain surgery. Neurological surgeons, for instance, treat diseases of the nerve system and the brain that may have a variety of subtle and broader impacts. For some patients, these may involve behavioral and perceptual impairments, while for others, they may entail mobility concerns or incapacitating pain. A medical specialty called neurological surgery deals with the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of a wide range of neurological conditions affecting the parts of the nervous system. Neurosurgeons provide pain relief for a wide range of severe illnesses, including sciatica, pinched nerves, back pain, epilepsy, stroke, and chronic pain. These conditions could be present in one location but not in another. For instance, neck spinal disc issues may be connected to carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms. A neurosurgeon may advise several different procedures. However, some of the more typical ones include laminectomy, craniotomy, lumbar puncture, Chiari decompression, epilepsy neurosurgery, anterior cervical discectomy, and epilepsy neurosurgery. We invite you to submit your research findings in this special issue, which aims to present brief knowledge about neurological disorders, techniques, and various surgeries performed to get rid of diseases related to your nervous system.
