Special Issue Description

Systems for indirect heat transmission called thermal fluid heating circulate a thermal fluid inside the apparatus to regulate temperature. This method enables precise cooling or heating with just one thermal transfer fluid. To ensure that the process is successful and efficient, the fluid used must be carefully selected to meet the system’s processing needs. A heat transfer fluid is a gas or liquid that participates in heat transfer by acting as a bridge between heating and cooling on opposite sides of a process. In various applications and industrial processes that call for heating or cooling, heat transfer fluids are frequently utilized in closed circuits and continuous cycles. For instance, cooling water can be used to cool an engine, while heating water can be used to heat a room’s radiator in a hydronic heating system. Low viscosity will facilitate fluid flow. It will further cut back on pumping expenses. The chosen fluid must not damage the pipe’s walls as it passes through. As fewer pipes would need to be replaced, the equipment’s maintenance expenses will go down. The rate of heat transport through the fluid will rise with high thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity. The fluid’s boiling and freezing points should be both high. By doing this, the fluid will be able to maintain its phase while transferring heat. Additionally, the complexity of the equipment design will be reduced.

Manuscript Submission information

Manuscripts should be submitted online via the manuscript Engine. Once you register on APID, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline.
All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the email address:[email protected] for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a Double-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for the submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page.
