Special Issue Description

The greenhouse effect is a phenomenon in which heat from a planet’s host star passes through its atmosphere and warms the surface of the planet, but greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere prevent part of the heat from going directly to space, making the world warmer. Without greenhouse gasses, Earth would be below freezing, but the planet’s natural greenhouse effect prevents this from happening. Additionally, when greenhouse gas concentrations rise due to human activity, more heat is trapped and the Earth gradually gets warmer. Anything emits energy in proportion to its temperature. For example, the Sun, which radiates energy mostly as visible and near-infrared light at a temperature of approximately 5,500 °C (9,930 °F), releases longer-wavelength infrared radiant heat at a temperature of approximately 15 °C (59 °F). When gasses in Earth’s atmosphere capture the heat from the Sun, the process is known as the greenhouse effect. One of the factors that make Earth a nice place to live is the greenhouse effect. A greenhouse is a glass-enclosed building that can be used to cultivate plants. The greenhouse’s air and plants are warmed by the sun’s rays. The heat that is trapped inside is unable to escape, warming the greenhouse, which is necessary for the plant’s growth. The atmosphere of the earth is the same. The atmosphere of the planet warms during the day due to the sun. The heat is radiated back into the atmosphere at night when the earth cools. The main sources of greenhouse gasses include factories, cars, deforestation, etc. These gases are present in the environment in greater quantities because of an increase in manufacturing and automobiles. The earth’s surface temperature is never lowered by greenhouse gases, which prevent radiation from leaving the planet. The result is global warming.

Manuscript Submission information

Manuscripts should be submitted online via the manuscript Engine. Once you register on APID, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline.
All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the email address:[email protected] for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a Double-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for the submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page.
