Special Issue Description

Heavy metals are characterized as metallic components that have a moderately high thickness compared to water. With the suspicion that largeness and poisonous quality are interrelated, overwhelming metals moreover incorporate metalloids, such as arsenic, that can initiate harmfulness at the moo level of introduction. For a long time, there has been an expanding biological and worldwide open well-being concern related to environmental contamination by these metals. The human presentation has risen. significantly because of an exponential increment in their use in a few mechanical, rural, residential, and innovative applications. Detailed sources of overwhelming metals within the environment incorporate geogenic, mechanical, agrarian, pharmaceutical, household effluents, and barometrical sources. Environmental contamination is exceptionally conspicuous in point source regions such as mining, foundries, smelters, and other metal-based mechanical operations.Environment contamination can also happen through metal erosion, climatic testimony, soil disintegration of metal particles and filtering of overwhelming metals, dregs re-suspension, and metal dissipation from water assets to soil and groundwater. Everyday marvels such as weathering and volcanic ejections have been detailed to essentially contribute to overwhelming metal contamination. In the biological system, heavy metals have been detailed to influence cellular organelles and components such as cell layer, mitochondrial, lysosome, endoplasmic reticulum, cores, and a few proteins included in the digestion system, detoxification, and harm repair. Metal particles have been found to connect with cell components such as DNA and atomic proteins, causing DNA harm and conformational changes which will lead to cell cycle tweak, carcinogenesis, or apoptosis. A few ponder from our research facility have illustrated that reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation and oxidative stress play a key part in the harmfulness and carcinogenicity of metals such as arsenic, cadmium, chromium, lead, and mercury since of their high degree of toxicity, these five components rank among the need metals that are of awesome open wellbeing centrality.

Manuscript Submission information

Manuscripts should be submitted online via the manuscript Engine. Once you register on APID, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline.
All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the email address:[email protected] for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a Double-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for the submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page.
