Special Issue Description

By increasing the power of a weak signal, a transistor functions as an amplifier. The emitter-base junction is kept in a forward-biased condition by the DC bias voltage that is applied to it. No matter how the signal is polarized, this forward bias remains. E (Emitter), B (Base), and C are the terminals on a transistor, a three-terminal semiconductor device (Collector). The active region, cut-off region, and saturation region are the three operating regions of the transistor. When working in the cut-off region, transistors are off, and when working in the saturation region, they are on. When a transistor is operating in the active region, it acts as an amplifier. A transistor’s primary job as an amplifier is to boost the input signal while making a few changes. A circuit that amplifies a signal is known as an amplifier circuit. The amplifier’s input is a voltage or current, and its output is an amplifier input signal. Transistor amplifiers are amplifier circuits that use transistors instead of other transistors. You can utilize a transistor as an amplifier by making the weak signal stronger. One can acquire a better understanding of how the transistor circuit functions as an amplifier circuit by using the subsequent transistor amplifier circuit.

Manuscript Submission information

Manuscripts should be submitted online via the manuscript Engine. Once you register on APID, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline.
All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the email address:[email protected] for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a Double-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for the submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page.
