Abstract

The proposed system unveils the design and implementation of an Arduino-powered security and surveillance robot equipped with fire detection, obstacle avoidance, and remote monitoring capabilities. Integrating sensors like PIR and ultrasonic units, this autonomous robot navigates and patrols environments, actively detecting fire hazards and evading obstacles while providing real-time alerts and data to users through a dedicated app. This paper details the hardware and software components, outlining the robot’s construction, sensor calibration, motor control strategies, and communication protocols. Comprehensive testing in diverse environments demonstrates the robot’s effectiveness in fire detection, obstacle avoidance, and remote control, solidifying its potential as a reliable security solution for residential, industrial, and environmental monitoring applications.
