Recent Trends in Infectious Diseases is a peer-reviewed open-access journal launched in 2024 that are a significant global health challenge, with outbreaks and epidemics occurring frequently, and new diseases emerging. Recent trends in infectious diseases have highlighted the importance of understanding the transmission, diagnosis, and treatment of these diseases. This paper aims to provide an overview of the current state of infectious diseases, recent trends, and future directions. The recent trends in infectious diseases focus on, emerging and re-emerging infections, zoonotic diseases, the impact of climate change, and the increasing problem of antimicrobial resistance. The paper will cover both human and animal infectious diseases, with a focus on the mechanisms of transmission, prevention, and treatment.
