The present paper deals with to understand the media forms of television and digital media as an influential agent of socialisation in contemporary society, especially among the children. The increasing accessibility of television and digital media, especially in the rural society of Punjab, have greatly impacted the patterns of childhood socialisation, cultural norms, religious practices, attitudes, and routine behaviour. Unveiling the Relationship Between Anxiety and Self-Esteem in Adult Populations

The purpose of this study was to investigate the intricate connection between anxiety and self-esteem in adult Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) residents. A purposive sample approach was employed to select seventy people from this region. The study measured participants' self-worth and gathered pertinent background data using the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) and a sociodemographic data form. In the data analysis, a t-test was employed to assess significant differences between variables. Furthermore, the Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAM-A) validity and reliability were assessed using two different populations.

The Weight of The Flock: Narratives of Young Men who were Childhood Herders in Lesotho

Herding in Lesotho is associated with social isolation for extended periods, risk of assault by animal thieves, and risk of being attacked for suspected animal theft. Regardless, herding in Lesotho is mostly assigned to boys. The objective of this study was therefore to examine herding experiences of childhood herders in Thaba Tseka Lesotho. The study employed snowball sampling to recruit 14 childhood herders who were young adults (18-35 years old) at the time of the study.
