Awareness, Behavior, and Gaps: A Survey-Based Analysis of Personal Hygiene, Home Safety, and Road Safety Practices

Personal hygiene and public safety remain two of the most critical yet behaviorally neglected pillars of community health in India. Despite decades of national health campaigns, a persistent gap continues to exist between what people know and what they actually do — particularly among urban youth. This cross-sectional, survey-based study examined awareness levels, behavioral practices, and compliance gaps across three interconnected domains: personal hygiene, home accident prevention, and road safety, among 32 respondents from urban, semi- urban, and rural settings in India.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Techniques Among Healthcare Workers in South India: A Regional Analysis of Efficacy and Barriers

Healthcare workers (HCWs) in India, particularly in resource-limited settings, face high levels of occupational stress, yet structured stress-reduction interventions remain underutilized. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) offers a potential solution, but implementation challenges persist. To assess the effectiveness of an 8-week MBSR programme in reducing stress and enhancing mindfulness among HCWs in South India, and to identify barriers to its successful implementation across urban and rural settings. A quasi-experimental study was conducted with 450 HCWs (doctors, nurses, technicians) from 10 urban and rural hospitals.

Student disengagement, declining academic motivation, and passive classroom participation remain major challenges in modern higher education systems. Traditional lecture-based teaching methods often fail to accommodate diverse learning styles and do not sufficiently promote active participation or collaborative learning. To address these challenges, the present study evaluates the effectiveness of Joyful Saturday, a structured experiential learning initiative designed to improve student engagement, motivation, and holistic development through interactive academic activities supported by data-driven evaluation methods.

Resilience, Secular attitude and Forgiveness among indian men & women

The present study investigates the relationship among forgiveness, resilience, and secular attitude among adults living in Pune, India. The primary objectives of the study were to examine the interrelationship between these three variables, evaluate the influence of secular attitude on forgiveness and resilience, and identify differences based on gender and region. 113 adults were selected through a simple random sampling method and were assessed using the Bharathiar University Resilience Scale (BURS), the Heartland Forgiveness Scale (HFS), and the Secular Attitude Scale (SAS).
